Women's Health Clinic and Women's Health Evening
Desert Blue Connect will be in Morawa in June on 13th and 14th at two events – a Women’s Health Clinic and a Women’s Health Evening.
Women’s Health Clinic
Two Desert Blue Connect women’s health nurses will be at the Morawa Hospital and Health Service over two days in June offering:
- Cervical screening tests
- Sexually transmitted infection testing
- Breast health
- Pregnancy tests
- Menopause, continence, sexual and gynaecological advice
- Mental health advice
The service is offered free for women.

Women’s Health Evening
An event for women provided by the Morawa Community Resource Centre.
Presentations by Desert Blue Connect women’s health nurses include:
- Looking after yourself by Sharon Houwen, RN/RM
- Sleep health for women by Alison Adam, RN
Rachel Bower, Desert Blue Connect local counsellor will be available to meet and learn about her services in the Morawa region.
