The Expo is all about increasing awareness of perinatal anxiety and depression, connecting families with essential community services, and providing valuable information to promote overall wellbeing. This event is a must-attend for mum’s of all stages, whether you’re a new parent or preparing for the journey of motherhood.

– Health representatives
– Playgroup and childcare representatives
– Sweet Olive Coffee Van will be available from 10.30am – 12.30pm
– Morning tea is provided and free

10.30am – 11.00am Cath Dalle – Mindful Body – Mum’s and Bub’s Yoga
11.00am – 12.30pm Coral Coast Music – Mum’s and Bub’s Music Session
Organisations & Health Professionals:
Desert Blue Connect: Information table, and one-on-one parent chats with Desert Blue Connect, Lisa. We will also have Sharon, a Women’s Health Nurse, who is up for a chat! Desert Blue will also have the majority of the Community Initiatives Team attending, for those that are interested in registering for upcoming events.
Ngala: Information table, mum’s and bub’s area and wellbeing activity for parents.
Able Kids: Able Kids is an interdisciplinary service that supports children and young people in both Geraldton and the Midwest region of Western Australia. AbleKids has consistently grown to be able to provide a holistic service that includes Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Psychology and Dietetics.
Bambi Childcare Bambi Child Care: is a locally owned and operated provider of long day care and out of school hours care, conveniently located in the CBD of Geraldton. With over 40 years of experience, Bambi is equipped with assisting those that require childcare. If you would like to learn more, come and meet the team.

Playgroup WA: Meet Kiara from Playgroup WA and find out how you can connect in with local play groups.
Geraldton Toy Library: Have fun testing out some great toys form our local toy library and find out about this fabulous community resource!
Coral Coast Music: Ms Alyce will be down at the Mum’s Expo this year to provide classes and musical free play!
Mindful Body: Meet Cath and find out all about the benefits of yoga for both you and your little one (s!)
Midwest Nutrition: Meet the team of highly skilled and dedicated dietitians, who are passionate about helping individuals achieve optimal well-being in regards to both you and your child.
Leaning Tree Steiner School: Come and meet the staff from Leaning Tree Steiner School and learn more about Rainbow Playgroup, which warmly accepts kids form birth to 4 years old.
Frank Sexology: It is important to ‘be frank’ when talking about sexuality and relationships, especially in the postpartum period. So, come and meet Fran who can help provide information towards your sexual wellbeing.
Mission Australia Mission: has a goal of helping people find safe and affordable housing and supports those that are at a disadvantage, empower young people and assist those with mental illness. Come and have a chat with the team if you would like to learn more.
WA Country Health Service (WACHS): The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) has a specialised team of community child health nurses who provide a range of free services to support parents in their parenting journey. Come and meet the team to learn more.
Hippy Geraldton: Meet the Hippy team
and learn more about their early childhood programs.
Pregnancy to Parenthood (P2P): Come and meet the amazing team from P2P who work towards fostering strong early relationships between parents and their babies and creating lasting intergenerational change.
