The Expo is all about increasing awareness of perinatal anxiety and depression, connecting families with essential community services, and providing valuable information to promote overall wellbeing. This event is a must-attend for mum’s of all stages, whether you’re a new parent or preparing for the journey of motherhood.

9.45am- 10.30am Katie O’Malley – Igniting Hearts – Personal journey of the diagnosis of Perinatal Depression and Anxiety
10.45am – 11.15am Music session with Laura from Jar of Arts
11.30am – 12.00pm Mum’s and Bub’s Yoga with Cath Dalle from Mindful Body

Organisations & Health Professionals:
Desert Blue Connect: Information table, and one-on-one parent chats with Desert Blue Connect nurses Mel and Lisa. Visit this table for a chance to win a mum’s pamper pack!
Desert Blue will also have Midwest Early Years Gender Equality Project (MEYGE) Project Officer to discuss all things early years and the explore the practice of Protective Behaviours.

Ngala: Information table, mum’s and bub’s area and wellbeing activity for parents.

Able Kids: Able Kids is an interdisciplinary service that supports children and young people in both Geraldton and the Midwest region of Western Australia. AbleKids has consistently grown to be able to provide a holistic service that includes Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Psychology and Dietetics.

Hippy Geraldton: Meet the Hippy team and learn more about their early childhood programs.

Connected Beginnings: Come and meet Connected Beginnings who aim to support early childhood and health services to work together to better prepare Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, 0-5 years old, for school in selected communities.

Igniting Hearts: Meet Katie O’Malley who is a Holistic Therapist and proud mother. Find out what workshops and teaching has to offer the mothers of Geraldton.

Geraldton Physiotherapy: Physiotherapist Sally McKenzie will be available to chat about everything mum’s, baby, movement, healing after birth and is an absolute full bottle on pelvic floor health.
