How do I make an appointment?
You can simply pick up the phone and ring us, come to our main office at 25 Chapman Road, Geraldton or be referred by another agency or health professional.
Can I bring a support person to my appointment?
Yes, we encourage clients to bring a friend or family member to support you. Please ring us if you have any concerns.
Are interpreter services available?
Yes – interpreter services are available for people accessing Desert Blue Connect using TIS. Please have someone advise reception staff what language is required so this can be arranged prior to your appointment.
Do you accommodate clients with disability?
Yes – we have disability access via entrance at 25 Chapman Road and our services are inclusive to people with disability. Please give us a call if you any specific concerns about using our service.
What if I am concerned about safety and privacy?
We take safety and privacy very seriously and will ensure clients feel secure accessing our services. If you have any safety or privacy concerns we will gladly meet you externally for your service or make arrangements to come into the building via a private entrance. Please contact us if you have any concerns so we can make specific arrangements.
Do you provide services to men?
Yes we do have services available for men and boys. These include Sexual Assault Counselling, Relationship and Family Violence Counselling, Child Sexual Assault Counselling and we offer all our primary prevention services to both genders.
What about parking?
Parking is available across the road at the post office carpark and next to McDonalds (paid parking) or free parking is available at the foreshore. A disabled park is available directly behind the Geraldton Art Gallery in the post office carpark.
